Leslie Nord's Random Thoughts on Friends, Family and Life

I was never much of a writer - more like a rambler that can easily get lost in a tangent. My blog lets me go out on those tangents any time I want to. So remember, life is like a rollercoaster: Sit down and hang on. Sometimes you'll want to scream, sometimes you'll puke, but give it a chance and you'll find it can be a lot of fun.

The Tiny Kingdom

A life long Mountain Brook resident refers to it as "The Little Kingdom" but it's also been called "The Tiny Kingdom". I'd like to go through the community and do a photo essay - many of the houses do look like little castles. Kind of sad though - no garages. Even castles had stables for the horses.

The Brookies have the postage stamp size lots with these million dollar homes on them. If the house isn't big enough the only way they can go is up.

Obviously, I wouldn't fit in with the Brookie soccer moms. I have nothing in common with them and I sure wouldn't want to hang out with the potty-mouthed woman who spoke at the blogging seminar.
