Leslie Nord's Random Thoughts on Friends, Family and Life

I was never much of a writer - more like a rambler that can easily get lost in a tangent. My blog lets me go out on those tangents any time I want to. So remember, life is like a rollercoaster: Sit down and hang on. Sometimes you'll want to scream, sometimes you'll puke, but give it a chance and you'll find it can be a lot of fun.

Bandwagon Texas Fan

When it's not a Tennessee game, I'm just a fan of a good college football game. I tend to root for the underdog - I was pulling for Texas, not quite an underdog in this instance but everyone else was on the USC three-pete bandwagon. The game itself was good but the biased sportscasters Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts made me want to puke - could they have been any more obvious? What a contrast to the Orange Bowl - I was so engrossed with the announcers Mike Tirico and Kirk Herbstreit - they were excited, in to the game and NOT biased!

Vince Young played a great game - didn't particularly like his "Heisman pose" picture - so thug looking. Then the comment by classless sore loser Matt Leinart "I still think we're a better football team." - well no, you lost, the better team one.

On an iPod update - I was given over 900 songs for my iPod - tons of early 70's stuff - it's an eclectic mix - sure won't run out of music to listen to.

Adding to the daydream list (remember the Winning the Lottery post) - a house with a guest house - the reason are broad ranged - maybe a place for Megan to stay, more room for friends and family to visit. I've always felt awkward staying "in" someone else's house. It got me thinking - wouldn't it be nice to have a separated place for guests - kitchenette, bathroom, ect. Okay, call me weird.
