Leslie Nord's Random Thoughts on Friends, Family and Life

I was never much of a writer - more like a rambler that can easily get lost in a tangent. My blog lets me go out on those tangents any time I want to. So remember, life is like a rollercoaster: Sit down and hang on. Sometimes you'll want to scream, sometimes you'll puke, but give it a chance and you'll find it can be a lot of fun.

National's Follow-Up

I'd prefer to just say "No Comment" but that's not a fair assessment. My bowling was bad, period. I did have one 200 game - a 215. My best series was my Doubles Event - which like last year was my doubles partner's worst - just like last year. But my doubles series was better than last year. Doubt I will bring money home this year. I do have to remember that this is a SCRATCH tournament.

On the bright side Charlotte was nice - the hotel was fabulous. Service was great almost every place we went. Ate way too much food, when I did have a chance to eat. Tournament rules prohibited the eating while bowling. That is really rough when you bowl from 11:00AM to almost 3:30PM and then don't get out of the building until around 4:30PM.

Had a very nice stay in Asheville Saturday night. I think the best way to describe the town is "Bohemian" - it was quite the pocket of liberal, artsy-fartsy types. But the location is beautiful.

Not much has changed at the day job - still a person down and now have another one being deployed. Still have daughters that don't speak to me...
