Leslie Nord's Random Thoughts on Friends, Family and Life

I was never much of a writer - more like a rambler that can easily get lost in a tangent. My blog lets me go out on those tangents any time I want to. So remember, life is like a rollercoaster: Sit down and hang on. Sometimes you'll want to scream, sometimes you'll puke, but give it a chance and you'll find it can be a lot of fun.

Mind Your Own Business

The snooping into Megan's personal things story seems to have more to it. Perhaps I should go find some extremely embarrassing items for Megan to leave in her drawers and closets - maybe that would stop the nosy bodies.

Now I will defend a PARENT'S right to snoop, dig or whatever necessary if they suspect something is amiss - but this person is no where near being Megan's parent.

It truly amazes me, if Megan's father is so worried about what Megan does when he's not there, why does he leave her alone? Or better yet, why doesn't he talk to her instead of asking her sister? Of course, manners and polite behavior don't seem to be a strong suit when you allow house guests to snoop through your daughter's personal items.

Too bad there are some people who still have problems with the fact that Megan has a good relationship with me. I guess it irks them that Jeff and Megan are trying to work through the step-family relationship too. Hmmm, what is it that I was told, "get over it?"
